BIOGRAPHY:
Chris brings his experience as a trial lawyer, business owner and insurance company claims executive to every case he takes for his clients. He has won federal jury trials, state court and administrative hearings. Along with his litigation experience, he helps businesses and individuals with their transactional needs from organizing a business, employment matters, transactions with third parties and estate planning.
In addition to regularly serving as a screening panel chairperson for the Johnson County District Court on medical malpractice cases, Chris is also currently the President-elect for Kansas Bar Association Health Law Section.
Prior to reentering private practice in 2004, Chris was Vice-President of Claims and Corporate Counsel for Kansas Medical Mutual Insurance Company (KaMMCO) which is a physician and hospital owned medical malpractice and property and casualty insurance company. In that role with KaMMCO and with another carrier, Chris had the privilege of working with hundreds of physicians, administrators and attorneys in Kansas, Missouri, and several Southwestern and East Coast states to help resolve more than 2,000 claims.
